I had a juvinile axolotl about 2.5 inches long. my boyfriend said i could put spanis moss in with him/her so i did and it stained his/her hiding rocks my tank and made the water super yellow ish greenish..could this be why my axoltl passed on he seemed just fine prior to, he/she ate like normal then once the moss was in there he/she hid in their rock with lost of spanish moss near and sround it and when i got up this morning i figured he/she was still hiding so i went to work and came home and was like wtf so i lifted his/her rock and there he/she was belly up, and really yellow-he/she was pink to begin with.
