Hmm... My wild type axolotl has the same thing on his face but it is like a black spot with orange around it. It's been there since I got him and it's grows as he has grown. I don't think it's fungus either. He also has tiny ones on his tail but are harder to notice because he is wild type. Hopefully someone can enlighten us
