Congrats. on your tank arrival!! if i were you i would listen to Jinny's recommendation and get rid of the gravel, unless you want disaster. the poop and other debris Will find its way under the tiles, and get trapped there, causing your nitrates to rise and will be impossible to vacuum unless you disassemble the tiles and plants.
Why make things harder to have clean water, and keep your axie in good health ?
it is allot easier to set things up right from the start, than have to take everything apart and re-do later. trust me, i've been there, done that...
