is there a difference, my mudpuppy always spits out nightcrawlers, so im going to get some earth worms for it to see if it likes them

There are lots of different species of worms available. However, I'm not good with their scientific names (Ed K. is tho!). canadian nightcrawlers are good, leafworms have worked well for me, redwigglers seem to be distasteful to all but the greediest of caudates.

I've found some Earthworms in the garden that leave the oddest smell on your hands. I can't describe it, but its pretty musty and sure isn't pleasant. Though the critters don't care, I onlu used one once as your hands reek and it takes forever to come off.

What the heck are "leafworms?"

leafworms are small, reddish... worms... lol, just another species of annelids we commonly call "earthworms".
