What could be the problems if any of putting together two healthy long time captive, adult tiger salamanders?
Do this species become territorial and fight?
I have asked a few people about this and had conflicting advice, so peoples experiences of keeping two together would be very welcome.
Thank you in advance for any replies

It all depends on the individual salamander, I have found tiger salamanders to be usualy very social animals, but the odd one would attack if a stranger was put into the crate with him.
The best thing to do would be to have a spare crate ready when introducing the two,and seperate right away if all does not seem to be going well.

they sometimes can be very violent if their introduction to a hibitat is staggered. I had two and the dominant one killed and disembowelew the subordinate 1. yikes!
