Hello, I live in Pennsylvania, I 5 have spotted salamanders. They live together in a 20 gallon tank. They are only about 3-4 inches long. It is going to be winter here soon. I am moving them to a warmer room in my house for the cold season. does anybody have suggestions to care for them or should I just continue as always. They all seem to be very healthy on earthworms and waxworms. My guys are alittle spoiled and won't eat crickets. They always eat well, though. Thanks for any help.

Care for them as you have been, and don't be afraid to let them get down into the high 40s/low 50s F for winter. This will help them cycle naturally. They will get a bit more sluggish, but will continue to eat.

hey thanks alot. I was worried. Everyone here is so helpful. I wanted to add. These guys (spotted salamander) are nocturnal. So I never really see them unless I hunt them up to feed. I don't mind. This seems to be normal. They seem very healthy. Thanks again.
