How to introduce a new fire salamander

i want to add another fire salamander to the one i already have. the tank is a 40 gallon tank and i think will provide plenty of room, but i want to know if it is ok to add another sal. will they compete for food or dislike each other or can i rest assure that they will live together happily???
 
There will always be a little bit of competition, but fire sals are not particularly aggressive and generally get along with others. It would only be a problem if there is a major size difference.
