M/F?? and not eating

I Have got two firebelly newts from a petshop.The owner said they where a male and a female but not how to recognize them.One of them is thinner.could you help.And apart from that I have been given frozen blood worms to feed them.I did as instructed.But when i put it with them they don't even move!I have tried removing the piece of rock I made for them in case they wanted to rest but nothing.Can you help me.I have owned them for only two days though.

It's too early to be worry, let them get used to their new tank. We saw the same thing when we bought ours.
What's the temperature of their tank's water?

It is common that newly-purchased firebellies will not go into the water. Thus, it is difficult to feed them! You must either get them into the water, or find a way to feed them on land (small live food, or using tweezers).

try worms!!! from the garden they are very nutritious and newts love them!
