I need a care sheet on the blue-spotted sal. please. stuff like how it's young look and stuff like that. i wanna get some, but no sites carry info on this species.

A. laterale can be kept like other ambystomids. In particular, check out the care sheets for a. tigrinum and a. opacum. Anything in specific that they don't answer, feel free to ask on the forum.

what do you mean "young"? The larvae? buy a field guide, many have fantastic pictures for reference. Blue-spotteds are fantastic animals. I've kept a few and they're really friendly.

My son found what I think to be a blue spotted sal, and has his heart set on keeping it. Any suggestions on how to care for it?

Hi Amy, Consider that salamanders have long life-spans, so this could be a long-term commitment.
