Kaysie asked Jesse Horn and I for pictures of our Necturus maculosus enclosures, so here's mine. It's fairly simple, a 30 gallon tank with some hiding spots. I'm saving up for a larger tank right now, so if anyone has any suggestions for this or a larger (up to 100, probably 50 gallon) tank, I'd appreciate it.
Sorry for the low quality of the pictures, I'm not good at taking them, and my camera isn't good for water.
The top is just some cardboard boxes that we had folded around, they worked for my piranha so I tried them for a top for her, and it's been great. I'm on a limited budget, and didn't have a top, and even if I bought one, a screen might hurt when she jumps.
As for the cardboard sides, I thought it might help her be less stressed out, she seemed more stressed than usual lately so I taped those on the sides a day or two ago. Restricts viewing, but normally she's under the rocks anyhow.
I used to have more rocks and a real and fake plant, but the real plant was dying without light and I removed the fake one because my piranha needed some cover, big chicken.

She prefers the first rock, it's larger and propped up by two other small rocks, though she sometimes goes into the second. The water's a little dirty in the third picture, I moved some gravel around to try and make more room under the second spot and some dirt from the worms I feed her when I run out of minnows drifted up. I'm going to change some of the water tonight.
