Hibernation questions

Hello, I have some chinese firebelly C. orientalis for about 3 years, and i looking for some metod to lower the tank temperature for a hibernation period.
I live in Caracas Venezuela were the lower temperature in the year could be around 20C/68F (december)

you could fill a bottle with ice or freezing water and then put it in the tank. ive never tried it but it could work.
