Thanks Felipe -I'm sure your Pleuros will give you fertile eggs one day, they are prolific breeders when they get going. Some tips: 1) feed them well, earthworms and blood worms every other day. 2) Provide a flat area for the male to deposit his spermatophore, making it easy for the female to collect 3)You can try increasing the light levels 4)A drop in temperature seems to work for me (but not sure why). Good luck.

Well...in fact they are getting a little fat... my male is not old enougth I think.... My female is much much more larger than him! He is only with 13cm... is he ready to make babies???

Nice pictures Mark.

Wow the belly shot is really cool

Good luck with you're pleuros this year Felipe but ether you're pleuro is smaller than usual or not mature enough because it says in the caresheet that they are usualy 15-20 cm in captivity but still good luck with this years breeding

Well 13cm is quite small. They become sexually mature quite quickly but the male will need to be strong enough to carry the female -and with age comes experience too.
