Toad's company?

my local pet shop just got some pipa toads in (surinam toads)

this is probably a bad idea but I wandered what people think about keeping them with my axies???

Nope. Axolotls (and other caudates as well) should be kept in species-specific tanks.

Not to mention, Pipa pipa has completely different habitat requirements from axolotls.

Axolotls like it cold, Pipa are tropical. Axolotls like clear, well oxygenated water. Pipa live in dirty, oxygen deficient water. Etc.
