How young is too young for the fridge?... Container getting WARM!

I was just wondering how old or big an axie should be before you can safely put it in the fridge?

My axie is about 9cm long and 5 months old and still lives in shallow water in a container. My big tank which it will eventually live in is at 24 degrees right now! As my axie is in the same room I can only imaging his water is the same temp if not warmer seeing as there's very little water to heat up in the container!

Would he be safe in the fridge at his size and age?

not sure about that one so ill let someone else answer that one... could you place him in a cooler place? ie basement. concrete floors are also cold so may be worth a shot?
 
Not many ppl in Oz have basements unfortunately... and the floor isn't really cool enough

OH what about a chilly bin? (dont laugh at the kiwi slang) you can make them warmer that the fridge but still drop the temp a bit...
 
a cooler bin thing... that you take drinks around in... i dont know the real name of it lol
