Seperating my baies!?!?

Ok, after reading over the www.axolotl.org pages and from different posts and threads around the axolotl section i have come to the conclusion that i should seperate my babies becuase just incase they breed it would be a great physical strain on my little axie and she might die. I was wondering if i should get a tank divider or put them in seperate tanks to avoid little accidents until they reach near full size at about 25-30cm. THey are both little at about 15cm long. So what do you think?

A tank divider should be just fine

Your tank is ok at that size, or what you could do is keep a really close eye out for little presents the male leaves around. If you see any, pick them out as fast as you can. I would check every day for them.

Also the tank divider is also an option

or you could get another tank too.

thanks for the advice, i think its easier to just unwrap his little presents and chuck them in the bin

Rheann, the only problem with that is by the time you get there and see them, she may have already picked one up. Remember kids: The only way to 100% prevent unwanted pregnancy is abstinence! I'd go with the tank divider.
