Green fluffy... stuff

Me again people, Back with a new question =D After putting sand in my tank I've started to notice lumps of pale green stuff, Kind of fluffy and stringy, In lumps about a one centimetre wide, I don't think It's Axolotl poo, But then again I've never seen him poo before.

Anyone any ideas? The pipette I'm using for spot-cleaning kinda struggles sucking them up so it's got quite some... texture to it.

were was the sand from?
sound like the type of algae you sometimes get in ponds.
 
Are you able to find a turkey baster, maybe at the pound shop, woolworths or somewhere, they are great for sucking up bits and pieces!
 
Sorry for the lack of reply people. It appears to have stopped appearing now, It'd turn up overnight every night, But not anymore so it's cool. Cheers people =)

And I'm using a teeny-tiny medicine pipette at the moment Kapo lol. Tedious indeed.
