I am asking you the question if you can put 2 males together in the one tank.
Will they fight?
At present I have 5 axies, 3 females and 2 males.
I am not ready to breed as I don't have the time.
I have 2 females together (adult)
and 1 male and 1 female together (very young)
and 1 male (adult).
I will be putting the females together when they reach the right size and I would like to put the 2 males together, as tanks in the room are taking over.
If I can't do this can you suggest some ideas please.
Thanking you in advance.

You can keep two males together with out a problem. I have 4 adult males and one unsexed axolotl in one tank.

My axies hate eachother. so their both in their own two axie sized tanks.

thank you for the replies
they have helped.

axolotls are not aggressive creatures at all. the only reason for them "fighting" would be that they are hungry and will just snap at anything else that moves. my axies used to do this to each other but now they have stopped.

I have two males together, they seem fine. Occasional chases around the tank. ^_^
