VERY thin axie

In a store near me there are some axies and one of them is REALLY thin. Only a few months old. I told them and they say its the runt :S not even runts are that thin. They're trying to sell it for £22.
I wanna save it but thats too expensive. What can i do?
 
The best thing to do (and the hardest) is to leave the animal there.

If you buy it, they will just get more axolotls, and probably mistreat them too. The best way to get pet shops to stop mistreating their animals is to not create a demand for them.
