West Aussie Axies Info

I found out something today from my aquarium/fish expert. Most if not all West Aussie axies aren't really from west aus. They are transported over from the eastern states because there isn't a market here for them! This explains why we hardly ever see baby axies in petshops. The ones that are transported over go through quarantine and everything.

So chances are if you bought an Axolotl in West. Aus it's really from the eastern states.

realy i didnt no that that would be y der like 8 months wen u get dem im suprised no1 actualy breeds them in big enough numbers in W.A. for them to be sold around W.A.

Apparently there is one big breeding supply that is extremely succesful, over in Melb or Syd. So they basically run the market.

yea but yesterday i actualy saw some and da wer 2 months old dats the youngest iv seen in a shop

I picked up a young black axie two days ago.Johnnie Bloke is the youngest i'd seen that was still healthy, all other youngins r usually in a poor way sometimes the LPS is at fault but travel can't help either eh.Johnnie is about 4 inches long,I don't know the age however.

Frankie(my Avatar) sulked for a day and a half was so funny to watch them. She almost lept out when she first ran into him..LMFAO They both seem fine now.Straight tails all round and Frankie has come from out of the log.I know NOW I should have isolated Johhnie for a week or so,but so far the luck is holding. He looks really healthy.

Ahhh but it might not just be Johhnie - also keep an eye on Frankie to be on safe side.

Thats a shame. I would have thort that WA would have a market for them since its the biggest state.

Here is a picture of little Waldorf when I first got him/her (still to little to tell for sure)

Okay folks,

Telling people where they got thier axolotls is a backdoor method of not using the vendor feedback forum. I am deleting any references to pet stores and locking the threads unless they are placed in the correct forum.
