im very interested to hear about axolotls shedding there skin. i only just found out they did that about 2 days ago. i have never seen my axies shed there skin. any info would be great!.

I haven't seen them shed... but I have found weird stuff around the tank sometimes, even before when my axolotls were in the smaller tank and I didn't have live plants in there. I always passed it off as being axie waste. I wonder if it was skin sheddings?

I have never seen mine shed but when i clean my filter sponges there is sometimes slimey stuff on them, a bit like wet toilet roll that i presume is some. I have seen my newts do it and it is so gross when they eat it
