Why is it that Us Tasmanian's miss out, I desparately want an axi and it is sooo unfair, we are not allowed to have them. The laws were bought in a few years ago. Is there anyone on this forum from tasmania that breeds them or knows anyone that breeds them that can help me fulfill my dream? Because if u have axi's from before the law was brought in that is ok. Think cane toad and bunny rabbit. There are reasons that islands with fragile ecosystems try to keep species that could possibly be invasive out.

Jessica - Since you obviously did not have axolotls before the law went into effect, wouldn't it be illegal for you to have them now? Can you get a permit to have them?

This is not the place to ask for animals, there is an advertisement section below the Axolotl forum link on the main page. But if you can not have them legally then you should not ask for them here or in the "wanted section".
