just wondered is it possible to over feed axolotls because surly in the wild they would just eat has much as they want to.

Yes it is very possible to overfeed axies, especially if you're feeding them things they wouldn't normally eat (eg: beef). One of my sister's won't stop eating, the rest are ok when fed but she will knock the others out the way to get to food if she thinks you have it.

Yes, its definately possible to overfeed. When I got my first axie I fed her all the time, cos she was always happy to eat.She become very, very fat, to the point she couldn't swim anymore, she was too heavy!! Oops, I learned my lesson. Its bad for their health it they are too obese. Cut down on the amount on food if your axie is starting to look too porky.
I have 3 axies, and 2 of them would like to eat all the time,so I have to control it,however one of them only eats when hungry.

well at the moment i have 2 that are about 8 inches and i feed them two little cubes of frozen bloodworm everyday , and now and then i give them earthworms or woodlice...is two cubes of bloodworm a day 2 much?
