hi is there anyone how can help me i have only had my axie for about 6 months had now she is 8
inches long and has been off her food for about a week. She goes to eat and then spits it back out, she has been fed on blood worms and garden worms. I have checked the tank and as all ways everything is at 0.

what temperature is the tank on, it could be too low and yeah

when you say everything at 0, is that for ammonia and nitrite? What is your nitrate reading?

Hi

The nitrate is 10ppm
ammonia 0ppm
nitrite 0ppm
ph 6.8 to 7.0

A week is nothing to worry about. Mine have gone for over a month without eating. Just keep offering food.

hi all

i seem to have a very stressed axie. the tank has been tested and is fine. i have also cut the flow of water down as i have a power pump in the tank i came home tonight and found him floating at the top of the tank but when i touch him he did not move i tried again and he slowly went to the bottom is there anything that i am missing hope there is someone that can help

yes at the bottom with 1" of sand on top. if he has swallowed some stones is there anything that can be done?

Did you read the info in the link I gave you?

In brief:
keep the newt in a cool (refrigerator?) shallow tank to reduce bacterial growth (prevent gas buildup in the intestines)and reduce stress from floating.
After that, hope for the best. Occasionally feed the axie a bit to stimulate the gut.
