Poorly tail(i think)

got axie not long ago and it looks like he has a bite like mark on end of his tail but there's noting in tank to do this can anybody tell me what it might be.....thanks!!!!!!

Do you have plastic plants in your tank? I have one axolotl who twice now, has cut the bottom of her tail on something. I am guessing a plastic plant.

Keep an eye on the tail injury for white film or white fuzzy growth that looks like fungus.

Most light tail injuries heal very quickly.
 
If it's not too deep, it's fine. All of my axies are missing tailbits. They are fairly territorial over their part of the tank, and whoever gets close is nipped.

What do you have in the tank? Fish? Plastic decorations? Hard rocks?
