I found a salamander/newt. It has a brownish back and a bold yellow underside. What is it and what is the best way to take care of it?
 
It might be a newt. California or rough skinned maybe. Where are you? What habitat?
 
Without a location or a picture it will be next to impossible to identify your animal. If you want more information we will need a photo and some information on where you are in the United States.
