Dogs love salmon pellets

Today I had to ship out more salmon pellets because of a dog emergency. Dogs love the smell of salmon pellets and will eat the whole bag if they can get at it. I've had several people tell me their dogs ate all of their pellets. My little Jack loves them as a treat and begs when I'm feeding them to salamanders and the Pipa parva. Keep the pellets away from the pups.
 
I had a similar experience, but it involved mice, not dogs.:mad:

Maybe you should recommend to people that they store the pellets in a tightly sealed jar. That keeps the vermin out, and also keeps the pellets from drying.
 
My two dogs also love the newt sinking pellets - I had been using them to feed springtails until one day I left the container on a low shelf. All I found were little bits of yellow plastic....
