Hey again all,

im not entirely sure. but my female salo seems to be a tad duller than before. n every now n then theres a hiccup still from when she had a bit of trouble last week when she fell into some deeper water.

recon she's all good?

ive seen somewhere that hiccups n dull colouration could be bacterial septicemia

What kind of sal is it? And what kind of setup do you have for her?

I think that hiccups are harmless. The dull coloration can be an indicator of poor health. Septicemia usually causes redness, so that doesn't seem a likely diagnosis.

ahh yeh im sorry i meant to say. i have two fire sals.

Im doing everything right, substrate, temperature, i only use bottled water, i have a large tank for them both. Plenty of hides so they seem happy enough, Its not too wet in there either.

The bottled water you're using, is it natural spring water, or purified water? RO, DI, or otherwise 'purified' water has no ions in it, and can leach ions out of your animals.
