Water boatmen

hi this is my first post i was just wondering if it is safe to feed axolotls water boat or backswimmers as we've got alot of them here
 
Not sure about Boatmen; if it was me - I'd put a couple in - see how they get on (but watch them).

I know Boatmen eat tadpoles - but I'm assuming you Axolotls are big enough to eat them. I feed mine all-sorts; even the odd woodlice.
 
Be carefull with the big (greater waterboat men) they have a very painfull bite, the little ones (lesser boat men) are fine
