Mango, a Taricha Granulosa, whom I have had over a year stopped eating a month ago. He looked bloated. I kept him in a cool secluded place in my house. He refused to eat. I found him yesterday dead. I don't know if it was bloat, the water, the worms, or what, but his death came suddenly. He went from eating almost every other day to ignoring everything. I am sad. He would do this little dance for me when he was hungry. And would always be waiting for me. He will be missed. To those who have a taricha or wanting one, are wonderful creatures and great pets.
take care all.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My Taricha are a bit older than yours (7 years now I believe though there are 3 seperate groups so some are older and some are younger) and I can understand the attachment. They are a bundle of personaity. I would have the water tested if you still have it. It cannot help Mango obviously but you may learn something from it.
