You did not mention what you are feeding but it is not a good idea to feed any one food item exclusively. I personally prefer a mix of live and prepared foods however many keepers use exclusively live prey items such as earthworms, insects, blackworms, and so on. There is much written on this subject if you do a search through the forum archives as well as on caudata culture.

Earthworms are the best, most complete food nutritionally. If you look around the forum, you will read that again and again. It might be hard to learn to cut up worms, and I know, because it was a hurdle for me as well, but if you really care for your animals, you will learn. Good luck!
