hello!
i am borja from spain, new here.
i want ot keep CB salamander subespecies from spain(bernardezi,fastuosa)
does anybody know their adult price?
and something more, in my house during summer we have days at 25ºc more or less, is it a problem?

I am sorry but you cannot keep any spanish salamandra since they are all protected in Spain.

i know they are protected , but if they´re captive bred and bought in hamm for example?
i know i cant take them from the nature , i´ve seen salamanders near my house and i prefer to buy CB to avoid problemas
(i know, i must improve my english...)
 
The thing is it´s still illegal and you´ll get fined if you get caught.
I personally think it´s pretty lame that we aren´t allowed to keep them as long as we can proof that they are 100% CB....but it has a purpose. People would find the way to capture animals and make them pass as captive bred as soon as it were legal....
If you want to keep Salamandra, you´ll have to think about S.algira or S.corsica, which are legal to keep.
This weekend i was in northern spain and saw the incredible number of 55 S.bernardezis in just one hour...some of them were simply amazing and stuning..it hurt to know i could never keep them hehe, but watching them in the wild is even more rewarding, so if you´re like me, and you have a crush on this species...just go for walks on rainy nights, and enjoy!
