When I was sitting on the couch last night Chee-chee was stalking me as usual and I discovered that he has 2 extra toes on each of his hind legs. Lucky him I suppose, he can get to the food quicker now.

He can count higher than others, too! (Must cost him a fortune in pedicures, though.)

(It's perfectly normal, by the way. Chee Chee may have lost some toes earlier and regrown extra in his enthusiastic regeneration.)

Squishy has one extra toe on one back foot, took me a long time to notice it too but now I think it is kinda cute ha. I was terrified when I first noticed and was convinced something was wrong with her, but I have heard it is very normal.

When we got Chee-Chee and Bubblegum (both babies) they had no limbs at all. Stupid breeder had 100 of them in a very small tank. Poor lil fellas. Now they have a 4.5ft tank to roam around in. Ahh Thats the life.

You could have 3 babies in a big tank and they'll still bite each other's limbs off on occasion.
