I thought it had a bite on it but now the skin is just dissapearing and leaving bone.Where its nostrils should be there is just bone with two holes in it!!My other 2 newts seem fine!the newt eats ok and otherwise seems healthy!Whats going on?!
 
Sounds like a sore or ulcer which is very common in these newts. Some people use a fish remedy for fin rot used at half strength which is good for aquatic newts, i prefer to' where possible' take the newt out of the water and use silvadene cream which you can get from the vets, used once daily by applying it to the affected area.
 
ASAP HELP my newts are losing their color!!!

I have a problem with my newt When I bought them I received them a little fat and I thought that was normal except now one of them has started losing the colour of his skin and now another newt has started with the same symptoms. I dont know what to do Please someone help
 
The newts shed regularly and that sounds like their skin is getting ready to shed, can you try to describe what is wrong with their skin in more detail?

If it is just shedding, it is not anything to worry about.
