Hi, I'm new here. I came here because I am being offered a mud puppy or larval tiger salamander and have a few questions. I have a question though. I tried to make a post in the tiger salamander sub forum and it didn't get posted, do post have to get approved my a mod first?
 
Welcome to the site Ant catcher!

Mudpuppies and Tiger salamanders (larvae and adults) are very different, so I'd be sure to get that straightened out ahead of time.

As for posting- Until further notice, you will only be able to post freely in the Newbie and axolotl section of the forum. This doesn't mean you can't post in the Advanced section, it just means that a moderator will have to deem it appropriate before it will appear.

He will send me a pic today. He said the external gills were blackish more then red, not sure what that means. :confused:
 
Without a picture, it's hard to say. Once you get the picture, be sure to post it here, and we can tell you what you're getting.
 
Bad news, his parents won't let him send it to me so I can't get it. :( I really wanted one but could never find them. :cry:
 
Post a wanted ad, or keep an eyeball on the for sale ads. They come up from time to time.
