Hi there, I have just joined this wonderful site! I have three axolotls; two white and a recently acquired large black one that I rescued from a back yard. I have had axolotls for around 8 years now and find them fascinating. I'm delighted to have found this site as I am in need of further information on how best to care for my 3 beauties

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have after you have taken some time to read past threads in the axolotl section of the forum. We find that many questions have already been asked and answered.

Also, Axolotl.org is a great source of information.

Can you explain more about the rescue of the black axolotl from the backyard? I'm curious how it got in a back yard and what it was kept in.
