Hey everyone again thanks for all the great advise. I am wondering how often these guys should be pooing and how much i have had them almost a week and one just did for the first time and i dont mean to sound totall gurose but it was HUGE as in how did that come out of him lol
 
They'll poo every couple of days. It's rather large, football shaped. I liken it to pooping a watermelon. It disintegrates fairly quickly into 'poo dust'. This is why it's essential to vacuum your substrate well.

It also might be a good idea to invest in a turkey baster for spot cleaning of poop and uneaten food.

As Kaysie mentioned the vacuums are great & you should ensure you apply this to your substrate at least once a week, monitor your water quality and this will determine how many times a week you need to use the vacuum. The reason i say this is because each time you use the vacuum you must obviously then replace the water. With a turkey baster you don't remove any where near the volume of water as with a vacuum.
