Hey everyone :) I've just joined...it's good to be here!
I've had herps of all sorts, most of my life...inverts for the last coupla years too.
I'm looking forward to learning more about axolotls :)

I noticed that you are from New Jersey and are talking about axolotls. You can't legally keep any neotenic salamanders in N.J. without a permit. I think the permits are expensive and hard to obtain. If you are thinking about keeping salamanders in N.J. I'd look into something that doesn't have gills when it is mature.

Welcome to the Newt and Salamander Portal! Michael's right-Axolotls are illegal in New Jersey for risk of interbreeding with native species.
