I don't keep axolotyls myself, I suggest you start up a thread in the axy section and help will come to you.

Hello and welcome to the forum, I would suggest you post about your axolotl in the sick axolotl category which is Axolotls (<i>Ambystoma mexicanum</i>) - Sick Axolotl? at Caudata.org Newt and Salamander Portal - you will get more help that way.

Hi Debbie, I'm from Auckland and I'm also a new member. I had a female that swelled up also and unfortunately she died before I discovered the cause. It turned out she had ingested too many pebbles in her tank and since then I have replaced them with bigger ones. I'm also new to the axolotyl world and still learning about them.

Hi

I am also from Auckland and I was wondering where you got your Axolotls from? Do you know of a breeder? I really want some.

Thanks
Danni
