Default New to board

I am Shelby. I love pretty much all amphibians, frogs, newts, salamanders, toads and reptiles. I also like bugs.

I do run a small web store for fruitflies and media, etc., Shelby's Fruit Flies and Supplies. It allows me to have even more reason to get to work with amphibians! Do I sound obsessed? LOL.

I am looking at maybe having newts or salamanders in with my dart frogs. Anyone done this? Advice?

Welcome aboard!

Species mixing is pretty much a no-no, as much as one would like it to work.. almost always the two species will have entirely different requirements as far as temps etc.

AH! That was awful! That is why I checked. I was hoping there may be a newt that would not go after the frogs. But every picture you had was a newt or something eating a frog or something!

It would be cool to have an aquatic species of newt in the water and frogs on the land. You would think there would be two compatible species out there somewhere. Can't they all just get along?!?!?
