Hello from Oz!

Hi All,
My name is Paivi, from Australia, a busy mum of 4 and several pets, now also including three Axolotls. We are very new to the world of Axolotls, with the first one moving in as a birthday present for our son in mid-May. Captain "Lottie" Flash, as he named it, took us all by surprise with her (well we think it's 'her') lovely friendly personality and gorgeous looks (she's white but not albino), and soon after, we set our big 4-foot tank up for her, the other tank was just way too small. Since 2 weeks ago, she has two Axolotl friends with her in her new kingdom, dark olive/brown Hunter-Dottie-Bird (she's a ferosious feeder and likes to hover and balance on the plants like she was sitting in a tree!) and golden boy Alien-Pear, a truly amazing looking creature with his glow-in-the-dark white lacy pattern.
There is so much to learn and to know, to be able to make sure they remain healthy and happy, I'm glad I found this forum and the axolotl.org website! There is so much contradicting information out there, it's so easy to get confused! I already have some pressing questions, especially about our poor boy Pear, who is not well, but I will post them at the relevant parts of the forum, I hope I find the right ones!
