I have been a fan of the Mexican axolotl for years and have finally come up with the courage to buy one. they are just as amazing as I thought they would be!

Welcome to the addiction-uh, I mean Hobby!
A good point to start is: Axolotls: The Fascinating Mexican Axolotl and the Tiger Salamander, which will give you some good points on making sure your tank is set up to best accomodate your new family member. Also don't feel afraid to ask questions- everyone on here will do their absolute best to help you out
