Hello. my name is adam. i live in LA but go to school at UC Santa Barbara. my sister brought a firebelly newt home from school one day that was living in potting soil with those white fertilizer rocks in it! i thought that was awful so i went to a local pet store, got a bigger tank, some gravel, and bloodworms (my sister's teacher had been trying to feed it turtle food!). it was clearly underweight but after a few weeks it gained a lot of energy and seems to be the proper size. i'm looking forward to being on this forum and learning about my newt. some pictures:   |
