I received an e-mail informing me that the following two species are synonyms (i.e., the first of them should not be on the species list for CC):
Thorius maxillabrochus
Thorius schimdti

The reference cited is:
Hanken,J and D.B. Wake. 1998. Biology of tiny animals: Systematics of the minute salamanders genus Thorius (Caudata: Plethodontidae) from Veracruz and Puebla, México, with descrptions and five new species. Copeia 2:312-345.

Is there anyone out there who has this article, or can go read it for me and tell me if this is true?

Ordinarily, AmphibiaWeb keeps their lists up to date, and they still have both species listed. This is why I hesitate to remove it without checking the article.
