Sad herping day

This sorta goes with something Michael said ina previous thread. I went out today and well most the streams ive been going to are gone. dried up . The one stream i had any success was a stream that was almost gone. i found 1 (looks like a mix dusky and 2lined) so i desided to collect it before the stream was gone (no more water for about 1/2 mile). he seemed relly inactive. hope he will make it.. and also around this stream looked like people had already been digging around and turning things over. err. everything was all messed up soo i tried to straighten the rocks back out and put leaves back aong the bank. this may possibly be why all the streams dried up .there was also a pool that i collected some frog eggs. dried up and gone. only tadpoles letf are the ones i collected . :-/

has it rained there recently? sounds more like a drought would cause this than someone moving around rocks and such.

no not much rain resently. a few showers . just not sure. more rain is comming in this week so maybe things will regenerate.
