Default Let Us See Your Animal Room

I have seen a lot of gorgeous and creative enclosures on this forum for various species, but I rarely see photos of the rooms they are in.

I personally keep all of my animals in one area in the basement.

I have stuff spread about my home, in the garden and an amphibian shed. My "tank room" is below, it contains adult X.laevis tank(top left), below from left to right brine shrimp hatchery, brine shrimp grow on tank, leucistic axolotl (hatchling) tank, T.verrucosus (hatchling)tank. Top right, angel fish tank with african dwarf frogs, bottom left X.laevis tad tank, and the tub just in shot is my pachnoda beetle tub. Out of shot is another P.waltl tank and my madagascan hisser tub. Sorry I couldn't be bothered tidying up and too be honest that is as organized as I get.

my newt room is my bed room, because I keep it cool by keeping the window open all day. Every other place in my house belongs to the dawgs.

I just made a bug room in the cupboard under my stairs, it is in the same room as my tanks. I have a pachnoda beetle set up in a 4ft x2ftx20", way too big for them but I am storing the tank till I can get a new shed to my axolotls and A.andersoni set up next year. I also have some madagascan hissing cockroaches and will be getting some scorpions soon. I will be using this bug room to grow my own live food and keep some interesting inverts.

Mine is posted in its own thread around here somewhere. Placed it up a few months back.

The fun is forcing folks to use the search function if they want to see my creepy salamander cave...

Bump!

Getting settled into the new house!

L to R: Taricha granulosa, 1.1.1 Ambystoma tigrinum, 0.1.0 A. jeffersoniaum, 1.1.0 A. m. nebulosum. The bottom tank is currently empty. I promise it really is always this clean and organized. And yes, that IS a 10,000 year old bison humerus holding down a blanket, making up half of that tank lid, in case you were doubting yourself!

Just for kicks, the rest of the room. Where we store our assortment of fossils, firearms, and camping gear. And my ever-present helper, with his ever-present ball.

We've since moved the safe into the office, so now I have lots of room to expand. AND I was promised a 75 gal for the living room. I'm thinking of doing a planted N. kaiseri tank there.

And no, I haven't already set up a Giftmas tree. I have a black tree, so I set it up and decorated it with bats for Halloween!

Here's a picture of my "Newt Room", which is in the basement of my house. One tank is out of frame on the left side (1.1.0 Ambystoma Maculatum), and I also have another tank upstairs (1.2.0 Paramesotriton Chinensis).

Pictured here from left to right are:
2.1.0 Ambystoma Mexicanum
1.0.0 Triturus Marmoratus
0.1.0 Ambystoma Mavortium
0.1.0 Ambystoma Opacum (top shelf)
1.0.0 Ambystoma Andersoni morph (bottom shelf)
2.2.0 Paramesotriton Chinensis (bottom shelf)
0.0.1 Pleurodeles Waltl
