Default Gargoyle Gecko

I am going to get a Gargoyle Gecko sometime next week. I am so excited. It is for my birthday. My parents say it is the last animal I can get. I dont know why they cut off getting more animals after this. I only have a bearded dragon, three danube crested newts, and two goldfish at the moment. Of course and dog too, but that doesnt count. Anyway I was just wondering if there were any other gecko owners on this site. If there is, post pics of your geckos please(any species).

I own 2 female leopard geckos, I have lots of pictures in that album.

They look a little skinny on those pictures but they have fattened up quit a bit since them.

I keep various species of geckos. Standings Day geckos, Leopard geckos, Ocelot geckos, 2 species of "house" geckos, and 2 other species of day geckos that I forgot the name of. Out of curosity, do you have the tank already set up and if so, how is it set up?

Dear caudatadude, Although I do not currently keep any geckos, I am sure gargoyle make very good pets. I recommend you to acquire the book "Rhacodactylus Biology, Natural History & Husbandry" by Robert Seipp and Friedrich Wilhelm Henkel, Edition Chimaira ISBN 3-930612-33-X. This is a really excellent hard cover book that deals in detail with all the species belonging to this genus. There is also a good article on this subject in the last issue of Reptiles magazine.

I am making a set-up now. It is a ten gallon. I have a plant, some hides, and artificial vines. I will feed it repashy. For on the sides I made coco fiber coated cardboard for visual boundries. The coco fiber is held on by silicone. The silicone wont give up its scent though. I have aired it out for almost two days already. I have seen people do this before so it must air out sometime.
