Crickets can be good or bad, depending on how they are used. If the crickets are fed something nutritious and are dusted with calcium-vitamin powder and eaten within a few minutes of dusting, they are good. Don't leave a significant number of uneaten crickets running around the tank. They quickly lose their calcium powder, and can even "nibble" on the sals, thus becoming a pest rather than a food. Don't give them crickets that are too large (even marginally so). |
