T Shanjing breeding.

This is a discussion on T Shanjing breeding. within the Crocodile Newts (Tylototriton & Echinotriton)... forums, part of the Species, Genus & Family Discussions category; After some new moss and a good drenching....bingo. 2nd breeding of the year....

Crocodile Newts (Tylototriton & Echinotriton)... Two popular genera of Asian newts, the crocodile newts are diverse of habit, habitat, and appearance. The Mandarin or Emperor Newt, Tylototriton shanjing, is highly sought after.

I'm wondering when this happend? Because I have the second breeding already a month ago.And also have you already eggs again?
What interest me the most is the time from seeing the spermataphores(hope i'm writing the word good) and laying the eggs.

Congratulations Ian, you definitely have a magic touch with breeding caudates.
I couldn´t help but notice the odd "spot" on the female, is it common in shanjing to have the rib glands out of place? It actually gives her personality hehe.
