Fire-Belly & Sword-Tail Newts (Cynops & Hypselotriton) Perhaps the most famous and frequently bred newts in captivity, the fire-bellied newts and sword-tail newts are well known throughout the world as being excellent, gregarious captives.

Default My Cynops cyanurus

Here are some pics of my Cynops cyanurus that I got from Jen. They have settled in quite well and are little piggies! We have started to name them, although I think I have called one name to 4 different newts now. Oh well, all 10 are extremly fun to watch.
