What locality are my Salamanders

This is a discussion on What locality are my Salamanders within the Fire Salamanders (Salamandra) forums, part of the Species, Genus & Family Discussions category; As the title says. Help pleaseee :)...

Fire Salamanders (Salamandra) The first salamanders described, this diverse genus of species and subspecies can be found throughout Europe and the Near-East. They are the animals that first come to mind when most people hear the word "salamander".

seems you have two subspecies: terrestris (with the citron yellow lines) and salamandra (orange). But they could also both be terrestris. As both subspecies have a large distribution they can come from a wide range of origines... I would ask the one who sold them where he got them.
